Storyline: How PicoScape Began...

How PicoScape Became

The sky was dark and the ground was torched. Corpses lay scattered across the desolate landscape. This is how it all started…

The lands were luscious, yet simple. Nature was everywhere. A tree or two, some flowers, and the common plant life spread across the fields. There was no one who lived there, save two brothers. Picosanub and Foxehchub. They had always had a sibling rivalry. Whether it was Foxehchub stealing bacon off Picosanub’s plate at dinnertime, or Picosanub purposely forgetting to pay back Foxechub his 37gp, they always seemed to hate each other. But one day, it went too far.

You see, the brothers were no ordinary “players”. They were the amazing destructive mythical inappropriate noobs… or “Admins” for short. They could magically yell out some numbers, and an item would appear! Most famed of these items was the “phat” which is rumored in present times to be some sort of brand of men’s pants. The Admins also had the unique power of permanently shutting one’s mouth, or banishing them from the realm altogether.

The brothers desperately wanted to fight against one another, to prove whose strength was greater. The only problem was, Admins were impervious to the attack of other Admins. This was a problem until the brothers came to the conclusion that they cannot fight each other, but would have to get others to fight for them. So it was then that Picosanub and Foxehchub let players into their realm of ‘StupidgrassyplaceScape’, and hired them to join their armies.

These first few players were quite lucky, as they soon rose to great power. The brothers realized that the power concentrated in them would not help win the war. They had to share their power with their higher-ranking officials. These few generals became mediocre overconfident do-gooders… or “Mods” for short. These mods had similar powers to the Admins, but could not conjure items, or banish individuals. These warriors were quite fierce, and drenched with Admin power. The Mods became so famous in the war that the entire war was actually dubbed “The Mod War” years after the war came to a close.

The war lasted around a century. By the time the war was done, few knew what they fought for in the first place. The victor of the war was unclear. Both brothers had lost most of their power, from both age and use. The players of the realm were maddened that no “side” had won, so they decided to challenge each other in a duel so strenuous and deathly, that only one was guaranteed to return alive. They played chubby bunnies.

But this was no ordinary marshmallow stuffing sleepover game for little kids. They used actual “chubby bunnies” to stuff their mouths. The duel took place atop the highest hill of the land, west of the dark fields. After days of stuffing with no end in sight, Foxehchub spontaneously combusted, and the entire hill turned white because of the rabbit fur that clogged his stomach. Picosanub was declared victor of the war, and renamed the land “PicoScape”. He died only hours afterwards by choking on a strip of congratulatory bacon.

Many centuries passed, and the sons and grandsons of Picosanub and Foxehchub continued their age-old rivalry, until the most recent generation had become friends. They agreed to build over their ancestor’s foolish mistake, and start from scratch. So now, the present date of time, Pico and Fox let in the players just as their grandfathers did.

I'm supposed to be the official PicoScape storyline writer, so I believe it is official.

But if your asking if this is really true, I hope Pico's grandpa didn't really bet his life over chubby bunnies... though it seems plausible. Kidding Pico!
