What do we have to offer?

In an attempt to grow a little faster, PicoScape is looking into expanding into new areas of.. well private servers. Instead of buying out other private servers like we did with DevScape, we want to see what mergers would do with smaller servers. There are plenty of small server out there with 30-50 players online a day that we could essentially merger with and convert to PicoScape's community/server.

What can they offer us?

They can offer us a instant fast supply of active members, traffic gets directed to our websites therfore generating more hits, and our "known" status increases significantly.

Of course we cant just say "join us". They already have a small stable server setup with a small stable community, what do we have to offer them that they don't have yet! Why would they abandon their server to join ours? Obviously we would give the leader some sort of position in the admin/dev team (depending on hi skills), but thats still not enough.

So, start posting suggestions/comments/ideas for the next question, and help us grow. Serious posts only.

Great idea Pico! We could offer them to transfer their characters (skills and maybe even items), I bet that members would be more interested in merging then. But I don't have any idea what we could offer to the server leader except for possition, possition ammong moderators (we need to own the server, without letting them know).

And I'm dead serious on everything written above!

so basically you want to merge alot of smaller servers into one large one right? I think thats what we have to offer, a large community.

We dont have a large community - YET. So thats one thing we cannot offer.

So we essentially would be offering a big community, THIER community - Which theya lready have.

Thats like saying: Hey you, if you give me 10 dollars, add it with my 0 dollars, we will have 10 dollars combined! Thats alot! Want to do it?

but, it wouldnt just be that one community. It would be multiple servers comming into one server. But I see your point you asking what we currently have that would spark interest in joining us. Not what we would have.
Also is it possible to save the character's skills and items from the other servers if they did join us, and if you did, what if their experience system ran on a different precentage like say 400 or 500% compared to our 150%

i doubt we shud offer character/item transfers because some servers have much higher rates, and also, some servers havnt fixed item duplification,

they cud come here with 100k party hats and 2bil $

that wud screw economy.
